Roof Safety System Inspections

Static lines and anchor points for working at heights need to be inspected at regular intervals as per Australian Standard AS/NZS1891[fall arrest systems and devices] and AS/NZS4488 [industrial rope access sysetms], the manufacturer's instructions and/or the Workplace Health and Safety Act. A further unscheduled inspection will be required if a system is deployed to determine it is fit for use before it is returned to service.

Please note that minimum charges apply to site visits.

The inspection will involve: 

 

PERMANENT STATIC LINES  

Inspection Interval

  • Fixed - 12 Monthly
  • Webbing or Rope - we recommend 6 monthly
